Several months ago, I jumped into blogging. I love the personal aspect of blogging and the ability to share up-to-the-minute news and photos. Mariner's Compass Stars
The reviews are coming in....... I have only had this book for a short time, but found it very easy to follow and I shared it with one of my small quilt groups and took my "Japan" block to share and they were amazed at how few pieces there were to make such a wonderful block. A lot of these gals have done very little PP but they are interested in the Mariner's Compass, but have been afraid of the points. I feel that your instructions are very good and wonderful suggestions and the cd makes it even easier. Also the color pictures are wonderful for ideas.

Carol Doak Quilting Group
At the suggestion of one my students, I started a new group on Yahoo so those who enjoy making paper-pieced quilts from my patterns can share and chat. Our group has now grown to more than 4500 wonderful quilters from around the world. We are sharing photos of projects, participating in challenges and swaps and lots of sharing and fun are happening.
